Cloghane - Brandon community launches new April walking festival

CLOGHANE in West Kerry is a hive of activity at the moment as the local community prepares to welcome hundreds of hill-walkers to the inaugural Féile Sléibhteoireachta Chlochán Bhréanainn, the Cloghane – Brandon Walking Festival, which takes place on Saturday April 21 and Sunday April 22.

Situated in the shadow of Mount Brandon, Cloghane has long been considered as a premier hill-walking destination. Capitalising on this, Cumann Forbartha an Leith Triúigh (CFLT), supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta, have organised a new walking festival which set to showcase this most beautiful of regions.
