Ten crew members were resuced from a French fishing vessel that ran aground off the west Kerry coast earlier this morning. The vessel ran around at Dingle Harbour; from there resuce teams co-ordinated the effort which saw the crew safely removed to land. The LE Ciara and the Coastguard inshore lifeboat took the crew members ashore. They are all reported to be safe and well. Both Dingle and Valentia Lifeboats were involved in the rescue operation.
