Good food speaks for itself and this is certainly true at Dingle’s most exciting new Café and Restaurant, An Canteen.
By utilising fresh seasonal produce, chef Niall Ó Conchúir (pictured above) has created an exquisite menu which is sure to captivate even the most discerning gourmand. Serving a full menu from 12-9pm daily (as well as breakfast from 9am-12pm at the weekend), there is something sure to satisfy all tastes and indeed budgets. Head to An Canteen on Saturdays and Sundays to enjoy the best Irish Breakfast in town; using the best local produce everything is griddled rather than deep fried. This ensures amazing taste, and a much healthier alternative to the greasy fry-ups we may have become accustomed to!
Their Homemade Soup of the Day with Freshly Baked Bread (€4) or An Canteen's Seafood Chowder with Soda Bread (€5) is made using the finest ingredients, creating the perfect consistency naturally without the use of flour or artifical thickening agents. The exquisite Catalan Chorizo and Parmesan Croquettes with Blonde Raisin Salad (€7) are also hand-made on premise on a daily basis.
